The OFVAA was formed to serve as a professional resource and forum for Ontario's Forensic Video Analysts. Through information exchange, mentorship and education, the OFVAA aspires to foster responsible, accurate and current forensic video practices among its membership in support of Ontario's Criminal Justice System.

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a liaison and foster relationships with community stakeholders.

​

2. Ensure that a mechanism and open forum of discussions and input exists, in order to resolve issues that arise within the field of

    Forensic Video Analysis.

​

3. Keep members apprised of issues and processes that effect the proper analysis of video as it relates to legal issues.

​

4. Promote the use of the video system as a means of enhancing public safety and security.
